2010 BII Annual Lunch

The 2010 BII Annual Lunch, the industry's must attend networking event, held on 11th May 2010 at The Grosvenor House Park Lane, was once again a huge hit with attendees.

With this year's focus being firmly on Local Heroes, Partnerships and Success, Neil Robertson, Chief Executive of BII reported on both BII's and the industries progress over the past year, and on the partnerships that have been developed.

Neil also celebrated local heroes within the industry including licensees who work tirelessly to undertake charitable fundraising activity at their own premises. Just some of these individuals featured in a short celebratory film hosted by Phil Dixon which can be viewed below.

BII were delighted to announce the winners of the prestigious 2009 BII NITA Supreme Award – Enterprise Inns and 2010 BII Licensee’s of the Year – Richard Pope FBII & Loren Pope MBII, Of the The Bulls Head, Repton

Karren Brady, Business Woman, Columnist and Vice Chairman of West Ham Football Club delighted guests with her rise to success at Birmingham City Football club, and shared some of her more unusual and often comedic challenges.

One of the most prestigious events of the licensed retail calendar, the BII Annual Lunch offered attendees a fantastic opportunity to network with friends, colleagues and key industry influencers; but was as always also a very enjoyable day out.

Guests will be treated to a sumptuous three-course lunch, served with a selection of fine wines supplied generously by Waverley TBS, and during the drinks reception guest also had the opportunity to enjoy, London Pride, Budweiser Budvar original and dark, and Wenlock Spring Water at the Annual Lunch drinks reception.
